I think the district now is the East Sussex district, so maybe as I said, you could contact them to see if they have any John Weston's in their original death registers for 1865.

have you tried contacting the Sussex OPC they may have some ideas
I did try a search there but no luck but sometimes they have knowledge that
someone might be able to help
