Fred Baker - from Devon, England to Dakota
« on: Monday 02 October 23 23:42 BST (UK) »
Hi everyone, so I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on an ancestor that vanished with no trace.

Fred was born 1852 in Ottery St Mary, East Devon, England. He married a servant girl that was working for his father in June 1871, baby Albert was born 4 months later  ::)

His brother George moved to Dakota with his wife in 1872, come 1880 Fred is living with them, leaving his wife and child behind  :o

After that I can't find anything for Fred  ???

Any help will be most appreciated  :)

Yes, mum was out to work in a different town. There's a story there that unfortunately will never be told
