just wanted to give you all an update, i have applied for my dads death certificate.awaiting that. i have downloaded a nr1 from peoples Scotland, and will apply for the 1939 census in Scotland that will give me and idea of where my dad was, at age 9, i have found that there are bigamists thieves.criminals, and wife beaters on my dads side,  still awaiting my dna results hopefully that will ping stuff up, will keep you all updated if i get anymore info
