It’s been very quiet on most boards. Perhaps everyone is busy catching up outside since the weather is improving. ;)

I'll just add that the thatchers on our next-door cottage have now finished the roof and it's looking fabulous.  They have decorated the top with cleverly made birds - pheasants.  Although we feel lucky that we have a slate roof and don't have to deal with thatch, it's been interesting to watch.  The thatchers cleared up well, but we have had weeks of floating straw around the garden and the scaffolding is still up and intruding into our back garden.

Oh, and today is warm and sunny.  :D :D

Yes thank you Roobarb, I am fine,  not a lot going on.

Cat sitting this weekend  at my daughters, just feed her and let her in or out,  she is a lovely cat, whilst I don't mind doing it in my opinion it is getting to regular, half an hours walk or 15 mins in the car, I would stay as they have a lovely quiet garden but my husband doesn't want to, I don't like letting myself in alone otherwise I would stay there for awhile, we have just returned, we did sit out in their garden, so peaceful, all you could hear are birds, everyone must still be indoors,  I we never heard any noise at all.

Almost  onto the next weeks  diary now, unbelievable how quickly the time is flying by

I had to miss church today, one reason is my cough, an irritating one that comes in spasms, last week I had to go outside but I must say sitting in the church yard listening to the singing was quite enjoyable, plus cat sitting, I did have a chest xray this week so will wait to see what that brings, I am confidant I don't have any problems.

Viktoria  is such a busy person and crans so much into her day, I hope she is OK.

Enjoy your Sunday everyone

Glad you are feeling better Brigidmac, hopefully everyone will feel better for seeing some sunshine.

It’s quite bright here today but not sunny at the moment, although it was first thing this morning. We seem to get early morning then again from midday with a blip mid morning.

Beautiful here today, warm sunshine unlike yesterday which started off very misty and quite chilly.
Daughter and eldest grandson stayed with us on Friday night as grandson had an all sports tournament nearby.
We spent all day there and were completely cream crackered by the time we got home! Weather cleared up late in the day in time for the finals which they won hurray!
Have a good day all and hope the warm weather improves everyone’s wellbeing.

Brigidmac, there seems to be lots of virus's going around, the virus I had has left me with a cough, Dr recommended  honey and lemon, got the lemons, will  give it a go.

About time we has some reasonable  weather,, I visited a garden centre yesterday and bought a lot more hardy fuchsias , all named,  plus 6 dianthus,  they smell so nice,  will go into full sun ground so will wait for the sun to move round otherwise they will  cook it is so hot.

Gillg,  it must be fascinating watching the thatchers.

Take care

Happy as I am for you all to be enjoying the sunshine I can't help feeling a bit sickened off as it's cold and grey here! It does seem to be coastal, yesterday you could see the sea fret rolling in, the Met Office were forecasting sunshine in the afternoon but the forecast kept putting it back an hour, was after 4pm when the sun did show its face.

Today the grey has just parked itself here without shifting!  :( Oh well,  nothing to be done about it.

Good to hear everyone is enjoying the weekend and the sunshine.  :)
