Ivy and Holly's births are registered in Worksop.

Todwick and Dinnington, both in Yorkshire, were in the registration district of Worksop, Nottinghamshire, until 1936.

I wonder if James Hurst and Harriet A Bowen divorced their respective spouses before the 1911 census.
Or did Elijah Bowen and Ann Hurst die before 1911?

Although we now know the "married 14 years" was a fib (as per 1911 census)

Oh what a minefield! Thanks for all the input.

I had seen the possible GOUGH mmn but couldn't match it up with any other data and now I know why I couldn't find the family as Hirst in 1911 if they are Mitchell!

I shall go through all of this data that you have all provided.

When one gets to the point that one is going round in circles it is wonderful to have this rootschat community to have a look at the problem so Thanks again to everyone.
