Lillian M (born 1 April 1904) and William HILL are in Tipton, Staffordshire in 1939.

However, there is also a Lillian M (born 1 April 1904) and William HILLS in Chanctonbury, Sussex in 1939.

Yes the Sussex couple is the correct ones, with their 3 children (my mother in law's half siblings).

An incredible thread - all from a record of a Jessie THATCHER sailing to Australia  :D

I think I'm going to have put Jessie to one side as I'm no nearer to discovering what happened to her.

I've deliberately not posted some of the family information as it's still a little sensitive, particularly regarding Henry Thomas THATCHER.

Thanks all.
Harry

Is it possible that Jessie has died after 1921?

There is this death entry but no middle name  :-\

If you think it's the correct death entry a digital image is available on GRO cost £3

her burial

Jessie Thatcher  Age   12
Burial 1 Jan 1923 Kensington Cemetery, Hanwell, Middlesex
Burial Borough   Kensington and Chelsea

That must be a possibility.   For £3.00 it's worth a try.

Well done, good to find out what happened to her. Sad to die so young.
