Mary Anne Skelly / Earl Grey emigrant on Eliza Caroline in 1850
« on: Saturday 10 August 24 14:18 BST (UK) »
Looking for information on Mary Anne Skelly, who travelled from Dundalk Workhouse in County Louth to Port Philip aboard the Eliza Caroline. She was 17 when she arrived in Australia, and entered into the employment of David Finn in Kilmore, for about six months.  Any help would be great in finding more about Mary Anne Skelly, Thanks !

A Mary Anne SKELLY married George WALTON in 1850 at Kilmore. There seems to be 2 registrations - 25514 / 1850 and 25647 / 1850. Not sure why?

They had at least one child William Henry who died aged 11 months registered in Melbourne (3463 / 1858).
