Thanks Joekar - This seems like the right family, because I have other Leitches who were living at 99 Mordaunt St. and the sibling names are in the correct order.
If you can find the parents of Catherine, you may find wee Mary. Her father was possibly Francis.

Thanks Joaker - On the 1881 Census he was living at home with his parents, William Leitch and Elizabeth Hamilton..  He was listed as a Letter press Printer.  Perhaps someone may be able to locate him on the 1891 and 1901 Census for me.

Thanks.

Hi coonwarra - I don't think I have exactly that for which you are looking but I wondered if the following had any connection to your family:

Kin Help  Scottish Genealogical Services "Extracts From the Records of the Burgh of Glasgow 1573 - 1642"

As often, positions of Baillie were passed down in families, I wondered if Neilson, William, baillie - given in the index  would be a an ancestor.

Pages of the Index can be reproduced for the mentioned fee.

Hi Carolyne - Thank you for looking up this information for me, but I don't think this my George.  The George I am looking for, was in the weaving industry, and was living in Glasgow.

I wonder if someone would look on the 1851 Census and see if they can find George Glen born In Killearn Stirling. He would be @ 53 years of age.
His wife was Susan McIlquham

Thanks
