Durham Completed Look up Requests / 1861 Census Thomas Byworth - COMPLETED WITH MANY THANKS TO KARENLEE

Could someone please let me have details of Thomas Byworth and family on 1861 census. He was born December 1821 West Tofts, Norfolk. I can't find him on 1881 census but from a basic search on 'GenesR' using date of birth and surname, there is a Thomas born Tofts located in Stockton, Yarm. Details of the family would be most appreciated.

Thank you so much for finding the family. This is really helpful as there are more children for me to do research on. The different spellings of the surname is making it quite difficult but no doubt I will get there in the end.

I have been on the GenesR site trying to find the Lenegan family on 1901 census but to no avail. I have tried various spellings of the surname but nothing comes up that is relevant.

Is anyone able to do some kind of search using just Christian names? On 1891 census family consisted of Edward Lenegan Head aged 24 Glass Blower born York. Wife Eliza aged 24 born Manchester. Children Elizabeth aged 4, Margaret aged 3 and James aged 1 all born York. Living in the Fulford district of York. Edward and Eliza died in York in 1953 and 1954 respectively so I am presuming they would still be in York in 1901.

If anyone can find this family it would be most appreciated.

Could someone please let me have details of James Lenegan & family on 1891 census. From a basic search of the 1891 census on GenesR, there is a James Lenegan aged 1 with parents Edward (24) and Eliza (24) and two sisters, Elizabeth (4) and Margaret (3). Living York? I have no idea where they are from - can't find their details on freebmd. This is a new line for me (James married 'my' Nellie Bardy in 1918 in York) so I am keen to find out a few more details about the family.

Could someone please let me have details of Isabella Green and family on 1871 census. Isabella was born 1861 in Hull. She married in York in 1884. From marriage details, her father is William Green.

I think you may just have saved me the cost of a marriage certificate. I had had a look on freebmd to see if I could find their deaths but could only find Harold's parents who died in the 1950s. I'm sure from your info that Harold must therefore have married the Emily born 1895. Their actual birth dates are very handy as I only had the year (and in Emily's case the wrong one!) so thank you very much for that information.

Thank you for your input. The Emily Walls I am interested in married Harold Probert in 1923 (Harold was born in 1898 in York (1901 census)). Unfortunately, I do not have a Samuel Walls in my tree (it would have made life easier!). To confirm things one way or the other I will send for a marriage certificate.
