That is Daniel GIBSON, who died in Hawthorn, Victoria, Australia.

There don't appear to be any matches on ScotlandsPeople for a Ewen death in 1873 or a Catherine in 1888.

Yes Martha reported the death so she was still around in 1848. He died at 24 Caroline Street.

Daniel GIBSON (1790-1853) married Rebecca MARSH (1790-1849) on 7 Sep 1817 at St James Paddington, London.
They had six known children all born Lambeth, Surrey
Martha 1819-? married William BEARDMORE in 1838. He died 1848.
George 1820-1846 married Betsey Mercy GREGORY in 1844. Betsey married George WEST in 1847 and came to Australia in 1852.
Charles 1822-?
Rebecca 1823-1916 married John REMINGTON 1841 came to NZ in 1841.
Daniel 1829-1888 married Charlotte STURTRIDGE 1849 came to Australia c1852
Maria 1834-1915 came to Australia with Daniel, married 1853 to William WATSON, to NZ 1854.
Trying to find what happened to Martha and Charles. Just wondering that because all the others came down under that they may have as well.
Has anyone come across a Martha BEARDMORE nee GIBSON, or a Charles GIBSON anywhere in their research?

After George Gibson died in 1846, his widow married again in 1847 to a George WEST, and they ended up in Victoria, Australia, so am wondering if Martha ended up down under as well.

Just resurrecting this one.
William Thomas Beardmore died 15 March 1846 at 24 Caroline St, Lambeth according to death cert. He was 39, a Broker (same occupation as on marriage cert). Informant was Martha Beardmore.
A number of trees on Ancestry have his death as 23 March, which seems a bit strange as it was registered on 20 March.
He was buried at St Mary Lambeth on 26 March according to burial register.
Still can't find Martha anywhere after that. Nothing in the 1851 census. Not appearing in 1841 either.
The parents and other siblings were at Tyers Terrace in Lambeth in 1841, and various of the children were married from that address. The mother Rebecca died there.

A very clear photo linked to in the FS link. Can read everything very easily, including everything about the sister.
Believe it is the John Thurston whose death was registered Sep qtr 1838, Wangford, vol 13, page 317.
On Findagrave there is a memorial for a Susan THURSTON in the same graveyard, which looks to be John's wife.
