Hi Dave,
Thank you ... I have seen that marriage as well, but Hornsea is a long way from Crambe and I am a bit unsure if it is the same Robert.  I think the register says he was from Great Driffield.  I am hoping someone has copies of church registers that are not online from Crambe, Scrayingham etc.
Sharon.

Yorkshire (North Riding) / CRAMBE or surrounding parishes .. Bielby marriage
« on: Wednesday 03 October 12 07:17 BST (UK)  »
I am trying to find the marriage between Robert Bielby and Margaret (unknown).  Their first child was born in 1761 in Crambe, so the marriage should be from the late 1750's till 1760 or even the beginning of 1761.  There is a possibilty of Scrayingham being the parish, but not too sure at the present.  Can anyone help me?  Sharon.

Thankyou carinthiangirl ...
Are you able to help with the two Nicholai records (one birth one death) posted above here?
If you need any help with Australian records, let me know.
Sharon.

Here is Nicholai's baptism. I am assuming most of the information should be similar to Maria's.

Thank you yet again Adrian,
It is interesting when you start getting all the aspects of these people and try to map out their lives.  I find the stories are far more interesting than just the facts.  I am from the Bielby side, and having a relation marrying into this family is very interesting, especially as it looks like they were quite prominent.  I have a baptism and death record of her brother as well.  I shall post it here as well.  I am wondering what 'extra' hints on the family are in those records.
Regards,
Sharon.
