Please note that Trystan has made some adjustments to the PM facility in order to tackle the spam we have been getting lately, so new Rootschatters with not many posts (5 or fewer I think) will be unable to PM.  This prevents people from joining purely to send spam in PMs.


This position will presumably be reviewed in due course.

Ah, SO glad I read this - I've been wondering why I couldn't reply to the PM someone sent me!  Now I know I just need to post more....  hmm, but where?!

How long do they take to "register" as it were?  I've been posting here and there ever since I did the original message here (more than 5 I think) but it still says I only have 1 post to my name  :(

Hi Bob I have just joined Rootschat hoping to find info on my family. I posted a message asking for info on the name of Bentley but I cannot find it anywhere and I seem to have no replies or anything has my question gone through or am I just not doing it correctly
