Okay - I stand corrected on that score, but I do know there was a time in the 1970's when it closed - maybe only briefly - because I used to catch a train from Sheffield to there and there was a big to-do when trains came in to Lea Road Station instead.  I'm no expert on railway services and I don't suppose it will make much difference to the long dead members of the Gleadall family anyway!
