died in a nursing home, resided at 16 Graham Street.

I have just received a detailed map on how to find Lewis's plot so will have a look on the weekend. ( i was only 1 Row away last time    )

Did Anna have any relatives over here as i have found;

Her plot is next to Lewis's.
Lewis lived in Devonport at the time of his death. He was buried on Tuesday 21/06/1910 at 12.00am.

I have not heard from the Funeral Home so will ring them on Monday.

I don't know if Anna had any family in NZ - but it seems a bit of a coincidence that the person buried next to her husband has her maiden name..............Could it be her mother? If Anna was born in 1864, and this Annie in 1838 (if I've done my taking-away properly!) - then it could be..........I'll go back to Ancestry  and see if I can find Aykbournes there who fit the bill.........

You'll know the cemetery like the back of  your hand by the time you've found Lewis and Anna! -you've nearly got them!!!! - I do hope there's something there after all the trouble you've gone to............. If there is - tell them a distant descendant is thinking of them!!

A friend of my son's was in the navy at Devonport. Her husband still is. When having lunch with my son on Wednesday i will find out about H.M.S Worcester and if Lewis's record's are available.
