Hi everyone,
you're looking for both.
The problem was ,until today I thought that a Mary Wood lived with a Mr Wishlade, had 3 children,Frances,John and Bales, then had a relationship with an Edward HOOTON who she married in 1862 by whom she had a further 6 or 7 children.
However all these posts have discounted the latter. The lady in question,it would appear had 2 relationships going on at the same time .However it's rather confusing because children from both relationships seem to have been born in the same year. It's definately the same woman in both relationship ,no doubt-now I have to find whats happening. The 1871 census Show John Wishlade showing that Eliza Wolleton(the married name of Eliza Hooton from the 1841 census)was his sister but they have different fathers. So that was a great help.
If I could find Edward HOOTON and Mary in 1851 and 1861 that would be a great help. Her surname might be WOOD,WISHLADE or HOOTON but officially they are not married. They married in Pancras district in March 1/4 1862.In 1845 he was a Beer shop Keeper in Deeping Fen age 45(he was born c 1793)and she comes from Eastbourn,Sussex b 1810.
It would be great to know who was living with them in those censuses. That would help a lot.
Thanks to everybody who's helping on this,it's helping me a great deal.
