I see you've got Walker's (Bathgate) in your tree. You don't by any chance have any from Inchcross Farm?

Not as far as I know Avril. There were a lot of Walker's in Bathgate and my GGGG Grandfather Robert Walker (1803-1887) lived in Mid Street in 1841 and was a Cotton Weaver in 1851. His son Thomas (1842-1921) was a shoemaker who later moved to Addiewell.

Lodger, would you mind please looking for any burial details for :

JAMES BROWN, died 10 Feb 1847, aged 85, buried Carnwath. and his wife...
GRISSEL/GRIZZEL CRAIG, date and place of death unknown, but probably Parish of Carnwath.

Was Grizzel Craig married to a Brown?
Couldn't find her under Craig but there is a Grizzel Brown, no abode stated, aged 63 years, died of a decline, buried 14th June 1832. Does she fit?

The MI's for Carnwath have a Grissell Craig buried there widow of James - the family is listed from the first Jas Broun who died in 1704 aged 72 to the final entry in 1918.

I already have the Carnwath Monumental Inscription details from Peter and Falkyrn, thanks. I was hoping Lodger's burial register may have given some extra detail.
Lodger, the Grizzel Brown you mention would fit age wise but I have no other info as yet that would confirm her as James's wife.
sancti, don't go out of your way as I guess the only additional detail to be had would be a photo - and I'm only 10 miles up the road.
