Hi Sandra,

I hope you had a very nice Christmas and New Year.  Well when I was at home in December I met up with my auntie and her husband.  Anyway he was telling me that he is supposed to be related to Buddy Holly so i said to him I would try and find out for him if this is the case.  Apparently, Buddy Holly was born in Texas on the September 7, 1936.  Is there anyway of finding out who his parents were.

Thanks for all your help

Kieran

Is this uncle any relation to the Diamonds, etc., above or should this be a separate thread?

Hi Sandra,

Thanks for all this.  Yes this should have been a new thread as this is to do with my uncle Thomas White.  He was also telling me that we are related to the country and western singer Philomena Beggley.  This is on my mums fathers side of the house Farrens.  It is through Agnes Farren who married Leacock Portlengone in Co Derry.

Is there any trees on ancestory with Philomenas family in it or any trees for Farrens the Derry region.

Thanks for all your help

Kieran

Hello Kieran,

I cannot see any trees in the lasies name - Unfortunately I can't go into details on here because she is a living person.
This link will give you a little on her personal life.
