Hello Jackie, i was just about to tell you that his first wife was margaret Jude alias Tiplady and that Adam was a coal miner but you have found them, you are a genius,  i am trying to figure it out who Jane married before Adam and Jane`s father was John Smith a waggon man.  Its all mind boggling but i will get there in the end with help.   I think Jane could have married a George Lowther.  I am trying to add which children belong to who on my tree ;D   Thanks a lot Jackie.  Regards Gladys   .

Hello Gladys
you mentioned Jane`s father was John Smith a wagon man
and you have another post looking for her birth

http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=546877.new#new

as you can imagine with Smith there is a lot to choose from
I am just wondering how do you know he is a wagon man and do you have any other info that could help narrow it down ???
