Hi Rootschatters,
I am trying to find more information about an ancestor, Roland Holloway, and his family. I have them in the 1920 and 1930 census records living in Philadelphia. Can some more knowledgeable RCer's please tell me what other records there are to find out more?
I originally posted on the Australian board, as he was born there, and I haven't been able to locate a birth record. Here's that link:

Is that the Roland born about 1896 and  married to Carrie on the 1920 and 1930 Census ?

Sorry, I should have put more detail up. Roland was married to Rose, with four children in the 1930 census, and by themselves in 1920.

He seems to be more of a Rowland than a Roland

Yes the spelling does vary, depending on the record. In my opinion, it was meant to be Rowland, just like his uncle, and great uncle. I have never seen it, but quite possibly he had the middle name of Hill, just like his namesakes.
