hello  i have a James Yates born 1810 cant find a date for death for him and Elizabeth Simpson 1821 no death date for her .think these are the parents of my grt grt grandfather James Yates,where ther anymore children in this family ,think they came from torryburn fife wud be grateful for any help. thanks davidpaul.

have 1861 census ,james jnr born 1848 charlestown village dunfermline.

And who is he living with in 1861 as I cannot find an entry for that profile

cant find birth or marriage for james jnr on death cert say he was born inverkeithing.

Full 1861 details should have been included in opening post.  

Can you post the full 1861 entry as we have no details of where James snr was born or where they were living in 1861

Was his wife still alive at that time?

Were there any other children living with them in 1861

This information is incorrect and is why I could not find the entry

James jnr is shown as b 1846 Torryburn Fife and James snr 1810 Culross Perthshire.

Charlestown Village was their address in 1861  - not the birthplace

In 1851 James jnr & snr are living with Mary Yates 34 b Culross - sister of James snr

No wife shown for James so you are looking for a death for his wife between 1846-1851
