Could you please help me find William Ashworth who I think was born in December 1895
His parents were Frederick and Edith (nee Hipwell ?).
Where were they in 1901 and who was shown in the census for their property.

This is really helpful. I can now go back in the census records and forward. I think Fred went to Canada. He either married in Ireland, or in England.

Hi again,  looks like Fred & Edith had another child b c 1895, but possibly shown incorrectly in 1901 as Hipwell?

Thomas Hipwell 60 occ Power Loom Overlooker Cotton b Leicester
Amelia 60 b Warrington
Amelia 20 occ Cotton Winder b Droylsden
EDITH 6 Grandaughter b Middleton
Residing 37, Talbot Street, North Manchester
Census ref RG13/3765/71/34

PS are you saying Fred married again and then went to Canada?

Fred's son, William, married Hannah Rebecca Justin. I think William was a soldier in  the 1stWW and in the 2nd WW, when living in Canada. I cannot find William in Ireland's 1911 census and I know I cannot ask anyone to look at the 1911 English census.
