looking for any connections to a William Caldwell born 1863 Edinburgh migrated to Canada who could have been a professor at McGill University. He died 1942 could be Canada, his parents were William Caldwell and Margaret Munro both from Edinburgh.

This seems to be William Caldwell - born 10 November 1863 Edinburgh - Died Montreal 14 December 1942
