Archibald Campbell and Mary Lycett, married 1776 in Stafford

It is my thinking that if he was a mayor of Stafford there may possibly be some biographical information on him somewhere. Although I have looked on line and not found anything. The William Salt library however does have a lot that hasn't been digitalised so it is still a possibility.

On the 1841 Census, Elizabeth aged 65 is living in Swinnerton, Staffordshire
and here's her baptism

parents: Archibald and Mary.

More than likely, the children were given family names, for example, looking at the tree on Ancestry, Mary LYCETT's father was Francis LYCETT and his wife was Ann.

Weston Hall, Staffordshire (which is a lovely hotel, and on the net)....

Mentions: his Wife, and of course  Mary LYCETT, who married Archibald Campbell M.D.

The Will is very clear and written down the side of the last page is quite a lengthy piece of writing, dated 18 April 1792  and mentions

Mary CAMPBELL the Wife of Archibald CAMPBELL , Director of Physics, the nature and lawful children etc etc.
