Thanks, hanes teulu,
The land George Norton owned and mentioned in Poll for the Knights of the Shire was referred to, as an area called Robsack.
George mentions the property called Robsack in his 1765 Will and with long-term tenant John Duke as the occupier.
Attorney of Ramsgate, John Fagg also mentions this same piece of land (Robsack) in his Will after it was sold to him by George's grandson, in which John Fagg then Wills to Sarah Norton.
Robsack was described at being not far from the Spread Eagle (pub), which was on High St, Ramsgate.
The FARM at Pysons mentioned in the Kentish Post newspaper notice, 11 Oct 1746, refers says "in the occupation of George Norton or his Assigns",
Would this mean George didn't own the Farm at Pysons since it didn't say something like "belonging to, or owned"?
