Julius C Anderson 1935 Obit
« on: Tuesday 31 October 23 21:01 GMT (UK) »
Hi,
I would like to see an obit for Julius C Anderson b 1893/4 Denmark who died 5 Jun 1935 Edmonton, Alberta. He was living in Calahoo but I haven't been able to find a burial for him :(
He married Mary Watt Brough b 1898 Scotland, in 1927 Edmonton but is a widower on the 1931 Census - I have most other records for both of them  but can't find her death/burial
Any help would be appreciated.

Perhaps an error with the date…
Julius Anderson, died “about” 1934.
Burial Date - 7 June 1934
Cemetery - Edmonton
Burial Place - Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

Seems too coincidental not to be him?

Possibly a transcription error somewhere?

https://coewebapps.edmonton.ca/cemeteries/

[Apparently you have to type the name again.  It removed the details when I did a copy and paste.]

I originally typed
Julius
Anders (to catch spelling variations)

Added:  Eileen, I didn’t mean to imply that you made the error.  Sorry if it came across that way.  :-\

Thank you both for your help, it's given me more info to work with :)

Eileen - Mary A Anderson isn't her going by her bio on findagrave :(

I'm beginning to think this elusive Lady may have returned to Scotland but she's just as elusive on travel records too!

Lisa -  Details found on a pay site - Which is this or is it one already posted ?

Thanks again :)

Obit for Mary Anne Anderson - already clipped - Edmonton Journal

Perhaps this is Mary with a husband Peter on the 1931 census Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

Peter Anderson 64 years. Denmark.
Mary Anderson 66 years. Ontario.
Alberta Anderson 34 years. Alberta.  (This could be A O Anderson mentioned in the above obit.)

Hi Deb,

At one time I thought I read that we weren’t supposed to mention some sites, so I try to avoid doing so.  ;)  It was from Anc*try, the details were from
“Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Index to Cemeteries, 1890-1987”
