Hi, I have a James Fearon b1871Cockermouth
He married Clara Brook/s in 1894 Cockermouth. There is also a James Henderson Fearon born 1871 MMS Clark. This is where the puzzle starts. James no2 his parents are Joseph b1831 and either Mary or Elizabeth. On the 1871 census mother is Mary, 1881 census it's Elizabeth then 1891 it's Elizabeth. I've found a marriage in 1869 between Joseph and Elizabeth Young nee Clark in Cockermouth. On the census there is a William Clark stepson. No marriage for a Mary. Is it the same person, is James and James H the same person. Then to add to the mix there is another James Fearon born Cockermouth 1871, mother Mary Fearon living with Grandparents Downey. My head is a shed. On family trees in Ancestry they have Mary Henderson and Elizabeth Clark for Joseph's spouses.
Hopefully someone can sort it for me.

Hi looking for a marriage of a Frederick Stratford and Harriet Hancock c 1891/2. Harriet was born in Guernsey 1861, father Thomas Henry Hancock. Frederick was born in Sheffield Yorkshire but they had a son Frederick Henry Stratford b 1891/2 Guernsey. Some records say St Johns others St Peter Port. Harriet was still single aged 31 in the 1891 census. I haven't found Frederick Henry's birth yet either so if anyone can find that too i would be very grateful.

Hi, looking for a birth of Thomas charles pierre Stapleton born around 1893. In the 1901 census he is in the Workhouse aged 8yrs and down as Pierre in Edmonton Middlesex London, his place of birth is down as St Clement Danes, London. In 1911 he was in the Army as a musician in India aged 17, birth place transcribed as London Middlesex.
I have a feeling he was born in the workhouse as cannot find any birth records for him. He later married and had children, one of them was called Philipe and another son called Beverley Pierre, is there a French connection somewhere. Any help would be great.

Hi , I have an Ernest Thornley married to an Edith Armitage in Stockport in 1924. Ernest is on the 1939 census with Edith and Marion living in Denton Manchester and he is a police constable. In 1921 census he is still a police constable but a boarder living in Gorton south Manchester.  I cannot find him on any other census, don't know who is parents were. Only baptism I found was for 1900 in Godley cum Newton to a Frederick and Elizabeth but even they have disappeared. Any help appreciated.

Hi I have a marriage of a Samuel Martin b 26/10/1907/8 ?? to an Ethel Downs b 1902 ??
The marriage took place in Worksop in 1930, I would like to know Samuels father's name if anyone can find it please .
