This family has been surprisingly easy to track except in 1901 where I just cannot find them!

Looks as though they sold the land in the early 1880s.  I expect that is why William could afford to have no occupation in 1891.

Could someone please look up William Nicholas Parson born in Boxted 1843.

I think he is probably in Boxted with parents William b 1813, a farmer and mother Mary.  He might however be in Sussex where he married 1876.  In 1881 his occupation is given as Lloyds Shipping Insurance.

Thank you very much for trying.  I was beginning to wonder whether I had just overlooked something obvious. 
I have them in 1881 and 1891 thank you. 
It is possible that they were out of the country and funnily enough I suppose they could have been in New Zealand visiting Amy's brother ;D

I cannot find the Parson family in the on-line 1901 census despite trying numerous variations of the surname. various forenames and wildcards.

The people are:
William Nicholas Freeman Parson b Dec Q 1843 in Boxted Essex  In 1881 his occupation was Lloyds Shipping Insurance.  No occupation shown in 1891,
His wife Amy Louisa b 1856 in India, Tamil Nadu, Madras Presidency
Son Malcolm Lewin Parson b 1877 in Surrey (Esher or Cobham)
Daughter Vera Lewin Parson birthdate unknown but brobably eary 1880s (age illegible on 1891 census) born Boxted Essex

Wiiliam did not die until 1903 - in Kent (Thanet Reg District)  Vera married in 1902 in London.

They are most likely to be in Essex, London or Kent in 1901.

Can anyone help please?
