That's right.
Whole documents are not permitted in postings, but where there are questions of deciphering, snips are allowed.

MOIRA is the county!  Just thinking about this death certificate now!  Why didn't Sid give the information??  Where was he??  How did the S J BOWLES know Alice was a 42 year old Domestic Servant??  OR did that piece of information come from the doctor!!

Did Alice die in the home she was a D. Servant in??? No address just Town!!!  Who was she working for.  The doctor must have seen her somehwere!!  Her home??? Grrrrrr!  Will send an email to Yarrawonga, there maybe something in a newspaper that is not available on TROVE, I doubt it BUT you never know.  Should be doing this housework but this is too much fun.  Dianna

A couple of thoughts...
Sid would have been 19 at this stage, so off on his own working, maybe not even living near his mother.
S J Bowles is both the informant and undertaker. He probably didn’t know her, he was just doing his job.
She may have been employed as a live-in domestic.
Someone knew just her age and her employment - possibly her employer, so maybe she had not been long in the area.
I feel the post office directories might answer some questions. I don’t have Ancestry at the moment or I would be looking through the directories.
Milligan - Jardine – Glencross – Dinwoodie - Brown: (Dumfriesshire & Kirkcudbrightshire)
Clark – Faulds – Cuthbertson – Bryson – Wilson: (Ayrshire & Renfrewshire)
Neale – Cater – Kinder - Harrison: (Warwickshire & Queensland)
Roberts - Spry: (Cornwall, Middlesex & Queensland)
Munster: (Schleswig-Holstein & Queensland) and Plate: (Braunschweig, Neubruck & Queensland & New York)

Hi Thanks so much for your thoughts.  Will try and find more information, maybe not much else out there.  Shame she would not be on any electoral rolls etc.  Too early.  Anyway onwards and upwards.  Dianna

The section children of deceased is the last column on the document.

Do you mean to say that column is missing?

I think it may be worth a call or email here to the Yarrawonga Cemetery Trust.
You have her exact death date which may make a search of records, if they exist, a bit easier.

There are costs involved in burial and there may be an indication of who paid and from whence the remains were collected.

She had been ill for days. Where? :-\

".. It seems that Sid and Beatrice did not stay together too long as they both moved on to other partners..."

What do you know about Beatrice after the 1914 marriage....where do you see her next?

Hi Sorry I made a mistake yesterday with the "Column" for the child/children of marriage.  It is there on her death certificate BUT of course. No Sid there.  Yes that would be a good idea to contact the cemetery.  Someone had to pay for the funeral didn't though, even a very simple funeral costs money.

With Beatrice Aves/Blank/Fisher.  I will gather what I have this morning.

Just another little snippet of information sent to me this morning:-

Frances Hendy Petherbridge:
Baptism 05 Jun 1823
Bastardy order against  Henry Parkhouse 11 April 1857
Marriage with Richard Mills 17 Nov 1863

Could this Bastardy order have something to do with the birth of Mary M. Alice Petherbridge!  Hopefully will find more detail on this.  Many thanks Dianna
