DB set the ball rolling so all credit to her  ;D - we keep nibbling and getting a little further
forward.  You never know one day a relative  might google the names and find this thread,
it has happened quite often.

;D I may have set the ball rolling, but Sandra picked up the ball and ran the marathon with it. ;D

:( That's so sad about young Robert.

Empire Drive keeps coming up on death certs. Using Mary Alice's obit., her daughter has a
distinctive last name, and with Canada411, there is one listing for her at 5125 Empire Drive,
which matches up with young Robert's death cert.

to find the connection to the medal we would now need a few details on the cousin - to try and match her to the Pritchard family  ;)

I cannot believe how much information you have found on John Edmund' family.  Fantastic research ! Thank you so much.

We are not connected to these Pritchard's though.   I think that the medal has come into our possession through an Alberta link.

My aunt emigrated to Alberta in the mid 60's and lived there for some years.    She joined another aunt and her family who were already there. It was in the Edmonton area ..... Tofield and its surrounds I believe.
